Meet David Talha

David Talha is the founder and driving force behind Talha Life Fitness, bringing over three decades of expertise in performance, wellbeing, and executive health management. His career reflects a lifelong dedication to excellence — from elite martial arts to corporate wellness leadership at some of the world’s most respected organisations.

David began his journey in health and fitness at a young age, training in Karate for over 15 years under the mentorship of world champion Sam Greco. Achieving his 1st Dan Black Belt, he went on to train with Team Greco and represented his club in the Australian Full Contact Karate title in Sydney. This foundation instilled in him the discipline, focus, and resilience that continue to define his professional philosophy today.

With a passion for understanding human performance, David pursued studies in Anatomy and Physiology and became a qualified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning coach, Sports/Massage Therapist and Holistic & Nutritional coach. His career took him from Australia to London, where he joined the BBC’s corporate health and wellness division. His expertise quickly led him into management, overseeing operations and developing tailored health programs for corporate professionals. He later took on the role of Facility Manager at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, where he worked closely with the Marylebone Cricket Club (Young MCC) — conducting fitness testing, designing strength and conditioning programs, and working with elite players, including future West Indies captain Darren Sammy.

David also coordinated wellbeing seminars for international senior executives at the London Business School, delivering performance and lifestyle programs designed to enhance resilience and productivity.

His work extends into elite sport, having served as sports therapist for the Ferne Park Polo Team, providing support throughout their competitive season and sharing in their Windsor Cup victory.

For more than 20 years, David has been a trusted partner to the Daily Mail Group (DMG), managing the company’s fitness and wellbeing facilities at its London headquarters. Through Talha Life Fitness, he has overseen the design, development, and expansion of The Gym at Northcliffe House — creating a world-class environment that promotes health, balance, and performance for all employees. David also designed and developed an exclusive Personal Training Studio for DMG’s senior executives, ensuring a discreet and highly personalised wellness experience.

David is a firm believer in lifelong learning and continuous professional development. His qualifications span corrective exercise analysis, holistic lifestyle coaching, and advanced strength and conditioning, having trained internationally with industry leaders such as Paul Chek and Charles Poliquin. He is also certified in Precision Nutrition coaching, Level 5 Sports Massage and Sports Injury Treatment, and Yoga Instruction — bringing a holistic and integrated approach to physical and mental wellbeing.

David’s vision for Talha Life Fitness is clear: to provide a premium, science-led, and results-driven wellness experience that empowers individuals and organisations to perform at their best — both in business and in life.
